The world has been at war for nearly two decades. The territory of Man shrinks by the day and that which is held frays at the edges, or rots from within. There is no place more nefarious in Europe than the independent city of Cork, Ireland. This run down patchwork of rookeries and docks crawls with smugglers, cutthroats and spies – both human and formorian. It is said that you can find anything in Cork, but it won’t be cheap and your mother might sell you out first to get it!

Yet this lawless berg is about to become the focus of those with powerful and dire designs. The Emerald Prince of Ireland, a fomorian overlord, desires one last gem for his crown. The Society of Morrigan, a secret society of human sorcerers, wants to wrestle control for their own sinister ends. The British Crown wishes to see the free city brought to heel – or wiped off of the face of the Earth. It’s an exciting time for those that hold their own hand of cards; and can make their own destiny amid the chaotic games of backstabbing, shadowy deals and quick profits. That’s if they can survive…
